last semester

wow it is so weird writing that. it's strange to think about how this is my last semester at school. after being in school for so many years of my life it is weird to think about it finally being done. that i finally have to enter the big adult world and leave what has become so familar.

enough melancholy thoughts, on to the school dirt:

this semester should be interesting. it's going to be a lot of work, but that's good for me. keeps me from getting into too much trouble. although a bit part of what would get me into trouble have either graduated or moved away so that alone is a major factor. my professors are all quite the characters. i have one professor who is determined to be the coolest guy and everyone's best friend (i'm thinking he's going through a mid-life crisis), one professor who thinks that everyone is eight years old and incapable of understanding the material and proceeds to talk about one word per ten seconds (it's getting to be a long class), one professor who is so ditzy that i'm not even sure if she knows where she is, one professor who is the classic little old prof lady who loves cats (can we say huge cat earrings on the first day of class), and the last one is so strange that he gets his own sentence. my poli sci prof is so strange. he can't say anything without saying 'right' after it. he can't even say a whole sentence without saying it. i think he said 'right' at least four times in one sentence alone. all his statements have the intonation of a question and then he follows them with 'right' in either a further questioning tone, or in a very firm affirmation of his statement. needless to say the class gets annoying fast.

well i've got homework i need to get done before the weekend so that i can get some time to relax. plus my friend wingnut, who graduated last spring, is having a party sunday night for the 24 premiere. yay!! only 2 more days till 24!!! can we say incentive to get stuff done :)
